TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulmanmen's golf team travels to the NCAA Division III National Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada for just the second time in the last 26 years. The Fightin' Engineers won the HCAC title for the first time since 2021 and just the second time since 1998 on their home course at the Country Club of Terre Haute.

ROSE-HULMANMEN'S GOLF NEWS & NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman sits at #61 in NCAA Division III in the Spikemark rankings, and they are ranked 6th in the Region V rankings.
* The Fightin' Engineers are coming off their second HCAC title in the last 26 years with a 20-stroke victory over Transylvania.
* After not winning a tournament in two years, the Fightin' Engineers have now won four tournaments in the last two years, including the Region V Showcase and the HCAC Championships this season.
* Freshman standout Austin Frick leads Rose-Hulman this season with an average round of 73.48and five top-10 finishes including winning the Region V Showcase by six strokes. He is currently ranked as the #64 individual golfer in the country.
* All five Rose-Hulman players come into this week with a season average below 77.
* Owen King was named the HCAC Player of the Year after earning Low Medalist honors in the HCAC Championships at 1-under par.
* Aditya Reddy, Ryan Beerheide, and Frick all finished top-10 in the HCAC Championship and earned 1st-Team All-HCAC honors.
