Our classrooms will continue to be petri dishes for “floating and lingering” respiratory 🦠 pathogens, waiting to be inhaled by the unsuspecting. Solo (underpowered) HEPA units, typically hidden away in the corners of classrooms and run on slow speed (due to fan noise concerns) will provide visual comfort to some; BUT C-19 transmission protection for few. Once again, the private sector epidemiological brain trust will be shunned and we will be treated to our regular dose of TV doctors opining on COVID transmission matters, well beyond and outside of their individual areas of professional expertise. The plexi barriers will be retrieved from the trash heaps, the Big Box stores will be favoured and Main Street business will receive the last nail in their financial coffins. Once again, the public health response will be developed by pollsters, based upon other than public health. 🤔That’s what my 🔮 crystal ball, tells me to

A short story. It occasioned that a bunch of people were on a boat, it was anchored but due to rough weather it was loose and overnight naturally moved out into the great body of water. The persons on the boat were not good or natural sailors and clung to numerous toilet basins for relief during the night. In the morning discussions ensued as to the direction to travel. This being a large lake any point of the campass would eventually result in a solution, however as in life some solutions would be better than others. 5 days later, after many changes of direction and running out of vodka and other spirits (not all alcoholic) a passing boat took them back to shore. The journey time was 3 hours. Whats the point of the above. The persons were examples of UK's finest politics and the lake edge is the directions of travel the UK potentially needs to follow. Morale. A poor decision is never good but no decision is worst. Changing your direction of travel is a hopless move particularly if repeated during the term of the enterprise many times.The upside? 40% of the politicians were thrown overboard on day three and drowned. The UK prospered, not because of the quality of the remaining politicians but because the number of dissenting voices were fewer as a result of losses incurred.#ukpolitics
